Mr Eardley has a broad experience in the investigation, management and rehabilitation of injury.

Unlike many orthopaedic surgeons, Mr Eardley’s entire practice is devoted to injury and deformity, nonunion and infection management. Mr Eardley has no other elective commitment and is able to focus entirely on the contemporary management of injury and the established evidence base that underpins best practice.

Trained in the investigation and  management of sports injury, Mr Eardley has completed a certificate in sports medicine from the Cardiff Metropolitan University. This training was completed through attainment of the Diploma in Sports Medicine from the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Recognised as the most successful candidate in the 2010 exam diet, Mr Eardley was awarded the Macleod Medal by her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal.

Mr Eardley has also completed formal training in medical report writing.
